My L322 Range Rover

I brought this Range Rover earlier this year to replace my P38. What a difference, I LOVE this car!

Its not for the fainthearted though, with computers for everything, and some odd quirks. I’m looking at buying one of the Blackbox Faultmates so I can investigate problems on my own.

Problems to date :
– the steering wheel extension motor has stopped working (not too big a deal but I do want to fix)
– the exterior mirrors are a bit loose
– the coolant level sensor was intermittent
– I’ve had to replace the rear lower suspension bushes
– The Ski Bag carrier cover hinge has broken.

BUT This is a lovely car .. I don’t want anything else .. maybe a newer one in a little while.

Note this is not the dealer recomended procedure and you may have problems of your own, but this worked for us.
To let the rear airbag go, the same valve block is in the right rear wheel arch under the trim. Support the body of the vehicle allowing the suspension to hang down. Let the yellow & black lines go slowly. Once the bags have been de-pressurized, you can remove the lower arm & do any work you have to. We didn’t disconnect the battery. In reverse we lowered the vehicle down about half way onto the wheels, to allow the computer to see the that the suspension needed inflating, then started the engine and it inflated the airbags easily. Thanks for the tip “kiwionaptrol” this was the only place I could find any help about this subject. Everyone else said you need the T4..
    Cheers Al
