Well .. we finally got the Charger stripped. Removed engine, gearbox, dash and all the wiring from the dash forward.
Discovered more rust under the dash. Its off shortly to the panel beater to have the panels repaired.
We still haven’t decided to run with the 360 or the 265. The 360 will have more power and sound better, but I like the idea of a fuel injected 265, light and high tech (compared with the 360. I’ve brought an injection system from a XF Falcon and if I decide to go the 265 route, will use that as a basis for the injection system.
I might have to strip down the two engines and see which is worn most and which will be cheaper to get going.
