The solar system I ended up installing was made up of two 310W solar panels.
I made customised mounts to ensure that the panels would fit side by side on the roof.
This was then fed to a MPPT solar charge controller which charges 4 x 300AHr 6V lead carbon batteries. These have been very reliable and I would recommend them as they can be discharged much lower than AGM batteries.
One day, they will be replaced with Lithium batteries.
The batteries are monitored by a Victron battery monitor,
I use a 300W full sinewave inverter to run a Samsung Inverter fridge 24×7.

In Tasman, where are you? I tried to work it out but couldnt find any location reference. We’re just trying to work out best way to get air conditioning stuff out as i want to get my tripple stack pot belly in asap. Would like any air con stuff out the way first.

Did you put your sky light in or did your fuso come with it?
I’m located in North Waikato now near Hampton Downs. My bus had an emergency exit in the roof so I removed it and installed a marine hatch. I’d also like to install another hatch with a fan that automatically switches on when it becomes too hot insise.
