The 265 Charger Motor as it was. I’m tossing up between the 265 and the 360 V8 which I’ve got sitting in the shed. The 265 in racing form used to be quite powerful.
Maybe I’ll
- freshen the motor
- add fuel injection
- Ford EDIS coilpack
- larger exhaust
and this might make a difference.
I’ve already got a ford falcon XF injection manifold and injectors to graft on. Ideally though I’d like 6 throttle bodies .. as the E49’s etc used 45 DCOE’s maybe 45mm throttle bodies migh be the right size.
This site fat 265 inspired me. Anyone know where to get throttle bodies like this cheap ? or maybe Ford F150 ones might be the go … anyone any ideas ?
Also I’ve chosen the VEMS EFI system .. I’ll talk about his separately.
